Salim Merchant, is an Indian singer, music director, and score composer. He composes music along with his brother, Sulaiman Merchant, and the duo is known as Salim-Sulaiman.

He has composed the music and background score for movies like, Ab tak Chappan, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Dhoom, Neal N Nikki, Kaal, Krish and Fashion.

With a Hit song “Ishq Wala Love” from Student of the Year, he has proven himself a great singer. Salim Along with his brother Sulaiman has also worked Enrique’s Song “I’m a Freak” and have composed music for Hollywood film “Sold”

He has judged the season 5 and 6 of Indian Idol, season 2 of Indian Idol Junior and The Voice of India
